Dr. Rakesh Neve (M.B.B.S., M.S., D.N.B) is an Surgical Oncologist with a practice dedicated to the treatments of Cancer. His research has solely focused on how to apply the advances from clinical trials to daily surgical practice. Starting from a novice in oncology, he persisted with the learning process for a total of six years after basic surgical training (MS Gen Surg). During his Oncology career with Tata Memorial Hospital he has gained experience in surgical gastrointestinal services and in breast services. He has successfully completed 3 years of structured training course in the various departments of surgical oncology at TMH.
Dr. Rakesh Neve underwent his basic surgical tanning at B.J. Medical Collage, Pune. undertook his superspeciality training in Cancer Surgery at Tata Memorial Hospital between 2001-2006, where he has acquired surgical skills in various departments of cancer surgery. He had been on special scholarship to Anam University, Seoul for Laproscopic Colorectal Fellowship and to Kyushu University, Japan as a visiting fellow for upgrading skills in Laproscopic gastric surgery. He has performed all types of cancer surgeries independently with special focus on oral cancer and hepatobiliary surgery.
