Dr. Pravin Survashe is one of the most promising and dynamic young neurosurgeons in the field of brain and spine surgery. Dr. Pravin has done M.Ch Neurosurgery from one of the renowned institutes in India. He is experienced in all subspecialties of Neurosurgery. Till now he had operated 5000+ neurosurgical cases with good results.
Dr. Survashe also has been also contributing regularly to the field of newer developments and research projects in the field of Neurosurgery. He has published in National and international publications in reputed Journals. He is a member of prestigious neurosurgical societies across the world and has vast experience in presenting his work at different conferences.
Dr. Pravin Survashe has a particular interest in endovascular surgery, moreover, he has done one year of fellowship in Neuro intervention. Hence for any vascular lesions of the brain or spine, he can choose between open surgery or intervention.
For spine surgery, he has done minimally invasive lumbar spine surgery, Spinal fixations etc. In the case of the cervical spine, he has developed a novel technique of decompression which has shown phenomenal results in patients. He has also developed a new surgical technique for treating hydrocephalus called Velho and Survashe’s procedure which has the potential to phase off the V.P shunts in neurosurgery. He has experience of resecting extremely difficult skull base lesions without compromising the neurological status of the patient.
