Dr. Sinukumar Bhaskaran is a distinguished hip& Knee Arthroplasty Surgeon with over 27 years of medical experience and more than 20 years in orthopedic surgery. Heis a consultant at Manipal Hospital, Kharadi, Pune, specializing in hip and knee replacement surgeries, including robotic, computer-navigated, and unicompartmental procedures. Throughout his career, he has successfully performed over 4,000 joint replacement surgeries, making him a leading expert in the field.
Dr. Bhaskaran has received advanced fellowship training in Germany, focusing on complex primary and revision knee replacements at Endoklinik, Hamburg, under the mentorship of Dr. Wolfgang Klauser & Prof. Dr. Thorsten Gehrke. He also completed a fellowship in minimally invasive joint replacement surgery in Germany. His foundational training in orthopedics was under Padmashree Dr. KH Sancheti, one of India’s leading orthopedic surgeons. Additionally, he has served as a surgical lecturer at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, where he mentored upcoming orthopedic surgeons in joint replacement and reconstruction techniques.
