Dr. Ajit Mehta completed his MBBS from J N Medical College, University of Karnataka, in 1996. He then did two years' Internship at B J Medical College, Pune. Subsequently he obtained the Postgraduate MD (Internal Medicine) degree from Bharti Vidyapeeth Medical College and Hospital, Pune, in 2001, and the DNB Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cardiology through Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune, in 2006.
