Dr. Richa completed her MBBS, followed by an MD in General Medicine, and then pursued DM in Neurology, acquiring advanced skills in evaluating and treating complex neurological diseases. She has a keen academic interest and has presented her work at national neurology conferences. Her research contributions include poster presentations on intracerebral haemorrhage and cranio-vertebral junction tuberculosis and a published article on cardiac arrhythmias in Wilson’s disease in a peer-reviewed journal.

Her clinical strengths include the diagnosis and management of headache disorders, including migraines and cluster headaches, as well as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and vascular cognitive impairment. She is also highly skilled in treating strokes, from acute ischaemic events to long-term rehabilitation planning, ensuring optimal recovery and prevention of future episodes. Dr. Richa also specialises in movement disorders, offering comprehensive care for conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia.

She is proficient in conducting and interpreting neurophysiological tests like nerve conduction studies and electromyography, which are essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
